Our boy is 6 months old as of this last Saturday, so this blog is all about RJ. We went to the doctor today, and our boy was so brave and wonderful! He was given shots, which normally he hates, but today he just stared at the nurse like nothing was happening. He didn't even cry! Our boy is now 19.1 lbs (77 percentile) and 28.7 inches long (98 percentile)! He just keeps on growing...
While at the doctors, we decided that RJ needed to have x-rays of his head to determine how fast the bones are growing. For those who don't know, most babies' heads round themselves back out, if a flat spot occurs. Well, our stubborn RJ's head is not improving on its own, so we may have to get the boy a helmet/brace thing. More to come on that, I guess. So, we left the doctor's office and headed to the hospital for the x-rays. Again, our boy was wonderful! He just stared with great awe at the x-ray machine lights and the machine itself. He thought it was so cool!
So, as stated this blog is all about RJ. The remainder are just some random pictures of the boy that I thought were too cute.
Question, Question, Question the doctors with the helmet brace thing. They suggested my sister-in-law do it for her son because his head was a little on the flat side. After her research she went against the doctors and hasn't regretted not doing the helmet. I could get you her number if you would like to talk to her about it. Take this or leave it.
